Best Drug Store Dry Shampoo
I’ve shared a favorite dry shampoo before - but here’s my favorite affordable option:
Not Your Mother’s Plump For Joy Body Building Dry Shampoo is awesome. It smells and works AMAZINGLY.
The scent is Orange Mango and I really love that it’s not overly tropical - it just smells fresh. Which is also how it feels. Most drug store dry shampoo options leave you with an instant product build up feeling and I just hate that. A good dry shampoo should be extending your time between washes, not accelerating it. Every time I use a bad + cheap dry shampoo I need to wash my hair sooner than if I had just opted for no product at all; that’s why this gets label of ‘best’ drug store shampoo. This product gives my hair volume, freshens it up, and makes it smell amazing all over again. It has the feel of a more expensive dry shampoo without the price tag.
Even more surprisingly for a drug store product is that I think it actually lasts me as long as the expensive one does as well - or at least close to it. You don’t have to use too much on your hair because the product actually works, so you don’t have to worry about the can running out super quickly like you might have experienced with other drug store brands. Feel and longevity of this dry shampoo are really what make it a Featured Favorite.
